Currently, we are open for hunting 7 days a week and only closed during the week of Christmas and the New Year. We have a variety of hunts available per legal season including Wild Boar, Turkey, Deer, and Quail with Pheasant on the way! For more information about hunting in A Zone, please visit the Department of Fish and Wildlife for regulations which can be found here: https://www.wildlife.ca.gov/hunting. Before planning your trip, please note that we are in the California condor zone, which requires everything to be lead free (Copper Ammunition Only). Effective July 1st, 2008 the California Fish and Game Commission modified the methods of take to prohibit the use of projectiles containing lead when hunting big game and nongame species in an area designated the California condor range. Because this is rural location, we allow hunting parties of no more than 8. For safety reasons, we require a minimum of 2 people per party. Since we do not book more than one hunting party at a time, you will have complete access to the ranch and its amenities during your stay. For your use, we have 3 overnight campsites, 1 day use site, and 2 cowboy cabins available for rent. Each campsite will accommodate 8 campers, including their vehicles and gear. Our cowboy cabins are 8’x10’ and will accommodate 2 adults or one child and one adult. Whether you are in a cabin or a campsite you will be provided with fire wood, potable water and a warm shower. If you prefer to bring your own RV or Toy Hauler, you are welcome to do so as we have plenty of open space to accommodate your preference. We do not have a landing strip at the ranch, but do have two helicopter pads that can be used. The closest air strip would be Reid-Hillview Airport (San Jose CA) which is at the bottom of the mountain range. You may contact the Operations Supervisor Pam Svrdlin at 408.918.7700 Ext:27707 or by email pam@countyairports.org. When planning a trip, you will need to use GPS coordinates to get here. We recommended using Google Maps. The coordinates below will take you directly to the front gate!
